Jeremy K. Balkin is an author and bank executive originally from Sydney, Australia, living in New York.

After surviving a life-changing extreme sports in injury in 2008, Mr. Balkin has gone on to run the New York, Boston, Chicago and London Marathons, and successfully returned from Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal, inspiring phenomenal support for a range of causes in the process through his online non-profit philanthropic fundraising vehicle Give While You Live.


Mr. Balkin is on record describing "Philanthropy as an Asset Class" and is regularly asked to share his expertise at international conferences, newspaper opinion editorials and private boardroom events, has a blog on the Huffington Post and is currently writing a book to be released in 2015, titled Investing with Impact: Why Finance is a Force for Good.


In New York City on 25 October 2013, Jeremy delivered a TED Talk about his vision for a A Better Tomorrow and how finance can be used to change the world for the better titled The Noble Cause.
